About Us
Mary Ellen Pirozzoli is the principal Landscape Designer of Verdesign LLC, a landscape design and installation company based in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
Ms. Pirozzoli is certified by the New York Botanical Garden where she completed their acclaimed Landscape Design Program. She has been practicing residential landscape design and garden design in Manhattan, Fairfield County and Westchester County since 1999. She also holds a degree in Communication Arts and English from Loyola University and worked as a television producer in New York City for many years.

During the off season, Mary Ellen can be found teaching Landscape Design courses at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, and lecturing on Organic Land Care. She is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, Metro Hort Group, Northeast Organic Farming Association, and the Native Plant Center of Westchester.
Pro bono clients include The Children's Aid Society Day Camp and The Hammond Museum of North Salem.
Every landscape design installation is overseen by Ms. Pirozzoli and all plant materials are selected personally by her.

Her trusty dog, Sarah, helps.
